Admission Procedure

SGM Polytechnic welcomes all the prospective students, who are interested in pursuing their studies, in 3 Year DIPLOMA Technical Courses.

The Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Karnataka stipulates a Pass in 10th standard or equivalent Examinations with overall Minimum 35% are eligible for admission to FIRST YEAR DIPLOMA COURSE.

The students of Karnataka are required to submit the following Documents at the time of admission

• 1. S.S.L.C. Marks Card
• 2. Transfer Certificate (TC)
• 3. Study Certificate for having studied at least for a period of 5 years in Karnataka signed by BEO
• 4. Medical Certificate
• 5. Caste Certificate
• 6. Income Certificate
• 7. AADHAR Card Copy
• 8. I.T.I. Marks Card in original for ITI (NCVT) Passed students (for Diploma Lateral Entry Students)
• 9. 4 Stamp size photo and 2 Passport size photo

The Non-Karnataka, CBSE and ICSE students have to produce

• 1. ELIGIBILITY Certificate issued by Director of Technical Education, Government of Karnataka
• 2. S.S.L.C. Marks Card
• 3. Transfer Certificate (TC)
• 4. Medical Certificate
• 5. Caste Certificate
• 6. Income Certificate
• 7. AADHAR Card Copy
• 8. 4 Stamp size photo and 2 Passport size photo

NOTE : The original copies of the above documents / certificates along with a set of Xerox copies have to be submitted at the time of admission.
