Sri Guru Malleshwara MahaVidhya Samsthe

“Dasoha Chakravarthi” Sri Sri Guru Malleshwara was a 19th century Veerashaiva saint, Lingayat ascetic, Svalila Mahathma, Pavada Purusha, Teacher of Shakti Vishishtadvaita and parama daasohi. He was born in North Karnataka and came to Mysore. In later days he moved to Devanuru, Nanjangud taluk and initiated a movement over there by his teachings and invented a new Veerashaiva Dasoha Mutt , currently which is an institution and is a Pattada Mutta (Authorizable Institution). His Mutt in Devanuru, is considered as a sector of Shri Srishailam Veerashaiva Mutt (one of the five major Veerashaiva pancha-peethas).

Sri Guru Malleshwara Dasoha Matt is popularly known for “Anna Dasoha”.

“Soham Yendenisadhe Dasoham Yendenisayya”
The main aim of the mutt is to eradicate hunger and provide good education to poor youths with the almighty’s blessings.
